ArcticStar Design, Inc. started out as DEW CAD at the School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas in 1985, using Autocad 6.3, on an MS DOS driven, IBM-AT computer (with a 10 mHz math coprocessor), and was among the first in the nation to provide Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) to professionals, and the public; that has matured into a Professional Architectural Services company.
