My pleasure
GAO Review of CASIS Projects
Dear David Ways;
Thank you for recent interest in working with CASIS and the ISS National Laboratory. The CASIS team is truly excited about the growing community of researchers who recognize the ISS National Laboratory as an innovative platform to further their research efforts. We wanted to inform you of a timely matter where your response is requested.
As a non-profit entity that receives resources from the Federal Government, CASIS is in the process of working with the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) in support of a review of the research aboard the ISS National Laboratory and our cooperative agreement with NASA. The GAO has requested information pertaining to contact information on certain proposals received to assist with their understanding of our mission and processes.
Your project entitled “Test Galileo’s hypothesis and develop remote sensing transmission equipment” was selected and the GAO will be making contact with you. Your participation in this survey/interview is important in order to ensure that the results of the GAO review are useful and accurate. As the confidentiality of the research community is of utmost importance to CASIS, the GAO has assured CASIS that your name/company name will be kept confidential and will not be released outside of the GAO, unless compelled by law or requested by the Congress.
CASIS is appreciative of any effort that you may expend in support of this activity, as the accuracy and context of your feedback will be important to the continued efforts of the ISS National Laboratory. If you have any questions regarding this topic, please contact the undersigned
Sincerely,
Manager, Contracts and Compliance
