Genesis 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and afterward as well, when the sons of God had relations with the daughters of men. And they bore them children who became the mighty men of old, men of renown.
Genesis 6:6-7 And the LORD regretted that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him in His heart. 7 So the LORD said, “I will blot out man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—every man and beast and crawling creature and bird of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them.”
Genesis 7:19-21 Finally, the waters completely inundated the earth, so that all the high mountains under all the heavens were covered. 20 The waters rose and covered the mountaintops to a depth of fifteen cubits. 21 And every creature that had moved upon the earth perished—birds, livestock, animals, every creature that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind.
